The project Code MBO by Stichting Critical Mass consists of a teaching package for vocational education (MBO) students focused on citizenship and resilience. To provide teachers with more information and the opportunity to purchase the teaching package, a project website was created. Based on an illustration of ‘Pietje Puk,’ we worked on determining the style and structure of the website. With a project website, the focus is on the front-end: how it looks and functions, rather than on the structure and usability of the CMS system. As a result, the development process is shorter and more cost-effective.
CodeMBO.nl is a 'static' project website. This means it does not have dynamic content: the content is more or less fixed and does not change periodically like the content of a blog, webshop, or event website. Visually, it's a playful site on the front-end, but because the client does not need direct access to edit the text, we didn't need to create a custom backend. As a result, the CodeMBO website was faster and more cost-effective to build!
